Senior Project Manager, Tech Ops

Pharmacie de la Place du Cirque SA seeks a Senior Project Manager for Tech Ops to lead cross-functional project execution and operational planning within the pharmaceutical industry.

This position focuses on translating high-level project strategies into detailed operational plans, covering scope, timelines, and resources. The role supports the execution of these plans across global teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project management tasks for global, matrixed teams to guarantee timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Create, update, and manage project documentation such as schedules, budget forecasts, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Track project performance against established baselines for time, cost, and scope, taking corrective action when deviations occur.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating critical matters promptly and structurally.
• Maintain accurate records in project management systems to ensure full transparency and traceability of decisions and changes.
• Analyze critical paths and evaluate various scenarios to improve the robustness and predictability of project plans.
• Prepare concise and high-quality status reports and updates for senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and ensure clear communication channels among all stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Provide informal mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior project managers or team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector.
• 3 to 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects within a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of drug development, manufacturing, and Technology Operations processes.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) or MBA.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
