IT Advanced Consulting seeks a Senior IT Project Manager in Fribourg to lead healthcare digital projects, reporting directly to the CIO Switzerland.
This position involves steering digital initiatives from initial concept through to user adoption, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with measurable impact on patient care. The role reports directly to the CIO Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete IT project lifecycle, including scope definition, objective setting, timeline creation, budget oversight, and coordination of implementation, testing, and go-live phases.
- Align clinical, technical, and commercial stakeholders, facilitate decision-making, maintain clear communication channels, and oversee external vendors and delivery partners.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies, escalate critical matters early with mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with governance, security, and quality standards.
- Drive change, digital, and AI initiatives, support the integration of newly acquired organizations, and identify opportunities to enhance patient outcomes through technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing IT projects within complex, international settings.
- Solid technical background in infrastructure, applications, and digital solutions.
- Strong planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Risk awareness, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- High level of ownership and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
- Fluency in English and either German or French.
Nice to have
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and service providers.
- Familiarity with the Swiss healthcare system.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
