Production Planning Expert (Ordonnanceur)

Mikron SA Agno seeks a Production Planning Expert in Biel/Bienne to oversee manufacturing orders, optimize resource allocation, and ensure project deadlines are met using SAP.

This position focuses on the daily monitoring and adjustment of manufacturing orders to align with component availability and workstation capacity. The expert is responsible for ensuring that project execution meets deadlines while optimizing resource usage and controlling costs through proactive planning and cross-departmental coordination.

Responsibilities

• Track all manufacturing orders to ensure accurate progress monitoring.
• Adjust production schedules based on the actual arrival dates of components.
• Modify timelines to reflect current workstation capacity and workload levels.
• Utilize SAP software to manage and update manufacturing order data.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and other internal teams to streamline processes.
• Facilitate clear communication and alignment between various departments.
• Identify potential risks of disruption and implement schedule adjustments to mitigate them.
• Suggest improvements to enhance planning efficiency and resource management.
• Attend production meetings and deliver regular status reports on order progress.

Requirements

• A degree in supply chain management or a related discipline, or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Proven proficiency in using SAP for supply chain and planning tasks.
• Solid background in project management and executing planning activities.
• Strong ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively within a group.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
