The company seeks a Mid-level Embedded Hardware Engineer in Uzwil, CH, to design and validate electronic circuits for industrial machinery, requiring 3+ years of experience and proficiency in Altium Designer.
This position focuses on the design, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems for industrial equipment. The engineer will handle circuit development, validate hardware performance, and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable machine operation.
Responsibilities
- Design and update analog and digital circuits for machinery components.
- Perform hardware initialization, functional checks, debugging, and validation for current and new products.
- Evaluate test data to determine the origin of hardware faults during development and maintenance phases.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to create and upkeep production testing and programming tools.
- Assist with machine setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting, including international travel for market launches and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of experience in hardware development.
- Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, covering power supplies, signal conditioning, communication interfaces, and protection circuits.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design software, with a preference for Altium Designer.
- Strong English communication skills for technical documentation and international teamwork.

- Familiarity with integrating electronics into machinery, including grounding, shielding, earthing, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
