Enterprise Functional Architect

Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Senior Enterprise Functional Architect in Geneva to structure data and processes within a regulated wealth management context.

The successful candidate will join the Enterprise Architecture team, focusing on organizing the bank's data, operational processes, and information flows. This role is critical for ensuring structural integrity and compliance within a highly regulated private banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and confirm the bank's enterprise data needs, overseeing their complete lifecycle.
• Create and upkeep a federated structure of enterprise data models.
• Identify authoritative data sources for business concepts and approve data flow designs.
• Develop and sustain functional maps of the information system.
• Distribute functional capabilities across various organizational units and applications.
• Oversee the governance of critical data in accordance with FINMA Circular 2023/1.
• Set enterprise architecture standards and facilitate their implementation across the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive background in enterprise architecture, preferably within private banking or wealth management.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling and data governance frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss banking regulations, specifically FINMA Circular 2023/1.
• Proficiency in functional mapping and business process modeling, such as BPMN.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with business, analysis, solution architecture, and IT teams.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) Practitioner level (Level 2) certification.
• TOGAF certification or an equivalent enterprise architecture credential.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with contemporary data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Understanding of data quality standards and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
• Insight into wealth management workflows, such as client onboarding, portfolio management, compliance, and reporting.
