Finance, Supply Chain and General Operations Service Delivery Manager

The company seeks a Manager to lead a global team delivering IT services for Transformer Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations. The role focuses on project management, vendor oversight, and process improvement within a remote setting based in Zurich.

Positioned within the Transformer Business Solution Team, this role directs a multinational group responsible for supporting the Transformer business through specialized IT applications. The position ensures that technology solutions align with operational needs while managing budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic roadmaps for the Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Direct a global team to provide IT services for Transformer Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Handle human resources duties, including staffing and budget oversight for team members.
• Oversee vendor agreements, manage annual budgeting, and create a multi-year strategic plan.
• Establish governance procedures with business stakeholders to handle change requests and align with Hitachi guidelines.
• Create and maintain accurate training documentation for applications.
• Manage the development of Transformer reports by gathering user needs and coordinating with technical teams.
• Collaborate with business units to define, plan, and execute new portfolio projects.
• Drive process excellence and efficiency, focusing on data flow improvements across systems.
• Partner with support teams to develop integrations and automations that streamline business workflows.
• Organize and lead governance meetings, including CAB sessions, monthly updates, and weekly team check-ins.
• Ensure all activities comply with Hitachi Energy Project Management standards.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in IT project management.
• Hands-on experience developing IT integrations.
• Solid understanding of finance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP FI/CO.
• Strong communication skills to bridge business users and technical teams.
• Ability to write and update application and project documentation in English.
• Familiarity with Hitachi Energy IT Project governance processes.
