Financial Controller (m/w/x)

Demaurex SA seeks a Financial Controller in Kaiseraugst to manage monthly closing, budgeting, and industrial variance analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills and fluency in German and English.

This position provides essential financial insights to aid organizational decision-making. The controller will split time between the Kaiseraugst and Altendorf locations to ensure comprehensive oversight of financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly closing procedures, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and prepare management reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and other teams to track project finances, maintaining control over costs, margins, and overall performance.
• Examine industrial variances related to materials, labor, and overhead, offering actionable insights to operations for efficiency gains.
• Monitor key industrial KPIs and support initiatives aimed at improving performance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals and providing regular status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of experience in controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel and reporting software.
• Fluent command of both German and English.
