German Speaking Travel Agent For Singapore Airlines - Work In Athens, Greece

Mercier Consultancy Group seeks a German-speaking Reservations Agent for Singapore Airlines in Athens. The role involves handling bookings, customer support, and ensuring high service standards for German-speaking travelers.

This position serves as a dedicated reservations and customer support specialist for Singapore Airlines, based in Greece. The agent acts as the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients, managing their travel needs and ensuring a positive experience throughout the booking and flight process.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservation inquiries from German-speaking clients through phone, email, and live chat channels.
• Execute flight bookings, modify tickets, process cancellations, and handle rebookings using the airline's reservation software.
• Provide guidance on fare structures, baggage rules, seat assignments, upgrade options, and loyalty program advantages.
• Address and resolve customer issues or complaints promptly, with empathy and a focus on practical solutions.
• Keep accurate and current records of all client interactions, booking changes, and service requests in the CRM and airline systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore Airlines' route network, current promotions, travel advisories, and relevant aviation regulations.
• Work closely with internal departments and airline representatives to ensure smooth operational coordination.
• Achieve and surpass individual and team performance metrics consistently.

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written, is required for internal communications.
• Possession of a valid EU passport or appropriate work authorization allowing employment in Greece.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in customer service, travel reservations, or the aviation industry.
• Familiarity with major airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
