ABB seeks a Global Product Specialist for Process Performance Motors in Baden, CH. This mid-level role focuses on market analysis, product lifecycle management, and competitive benchmarking for the Motion division.
This position acts as the operational core for the Process Performance Motor portfolio within the Motion / IEC Low Voltage Motors division. Reporting directly to the Product Line Manager, the specialist drives global initiatives that align product development with market demands and customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Collecting insights from sales teams and customers to spot trends, unmet needs, and specific market requirements.
- Evaluating competitor offerings and technical benchmarks to pinpoint gaps in the current product lineup.
- Overseeing project execution from development to launch, including consolidating requirements and supporting business cases.
- Maintaining data integrity across the product lifecycle by identifying inaccuracies and ensuring all information is complete.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Sales, or Marketing.
- Solid understanding of low voltage motors, their markets, customer expectations, and existing portfolios.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
