Group Manager Packaging Liquid

Nestle seeks a Group Manager for Packaging Liquid in Konolfingen to lead specialists in creating sustainable, innovative packaging for Nutrition & Health products.

The company is looking for a leader to guide a team of packaging specialists and engineers. The primary goal is to develop consumer-focused, sustainable, and innovative packaging solutions specifically for the Nutrition & Health category. This role requires close collaboration with internal R&D teams, external partners, suppliers, and academic institutions to align packaging strategies with business and environmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of packaging experts and engineers to create solutions that drive innovation, sustainability, and business growth.
• Define and execute packaging roadmaps that address consumer demands, environmental goals, and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical expertise for liquid nutrition and health products, including aseptic and chilled dairy applications.
• Foster collaboration with internal departments and external partners to select appropriate packaging technologies and equipment.
• Enhance packaging efficiency through cost-effective strategies, technical support, and successful industrial implementation.
• Develop team capabilities and promote knowledge sharing to strengthen packaging expertise across markets.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Engineering qualification in Packaging.
• Extensive knowledge of packaging materials, filling and packing technologies, and development for nutrition and sensitive food products.
• Strong expertise in packaging quality, safety, hygiene, sustainable design, recycling, and low-carbon solutions.
• Project leadership, communication, and influencing skills to guide decisions and align partners.
• Understanding of the business environment, global trends, innovation leadership, and sustainability challenges.
• Fluent English communication skills.
