Packaging Engineer

Groupe la prairie seeks a Packaging Engineer in Zürich to lead sustainable packaging development, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful product launch.

This position is responsible for the complete lifecycle of packaging innovation, from initial concept through to industrialization and market release. The role ensures that all solutions meet strict quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards while facilitating smooth commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead innovation initiatives and assist in developing new product concepts.
• Oversee the full packaging development process to guarantee timely delivery that aligns with quality, sustainability, and legal requirements.
• Prepare and validate technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, validation plans, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality teams, and external partners to ensure successful industrialization and launch.
• Manage project communication, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless handover to Quality and Lifecycle teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in packaging development for luxury skincare and makeup products.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Willingness to relocate to Zurich.
