SIX Group seeks a Manager to lead product and business development for its clearing services in Zürich. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and driving growth across multiple asset classes.
This position sits at the core of SIX Securities Services, overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle and expansion strategy for clearing operations. As a member of the Clearing Management Committee, the incumbent helps shape the strategic direction of the clearing business, which handles post-trade processes such as settlement, custody, and securities finance for multiple asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee product management and business development for clearing offerings across five distinct asset classes, while guiding two team leaders and monitoring overall team performance.
- Develop and implement the clearing product strategy and roadmap, focusing on maintaining competitive advantages in coverage, connectivity, pricing, and service quality.
- Identify and pursue new growth avenues, including entry into new market segments, connections with trading venues, partnerships, and interoperability projects, taking full ownership of business cases and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary senior contact and escalation point for key clearing members, trading venues, and strategic partners, working closely with the Executive Team and Sales departments.
- Represent the clearing division at high-level internal and external forums, including regulatory working groups, industry committees, and selected client events.
Requirements
- A university degree in economics, finance, business administration, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Significant professional experience within post-trade financial market infrastructure, clearing operations, exchanges, or related financial services sectors.
- Strong grasp of industry dynamics and product mechanisms related to liquidity, collateral, balance sheet optimization, and margin requirements across various asset classes.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience managing senior professionals and team leads within complex, cross-functional, and international environments.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
