SIX Group seeks a Manager for Head Strategy & Business Development in Zürich to lead strategic initiatives, drive new business, and support the long-term growth of its Securities Services unit.
This position is responsible for steering transversal strategic projects, creating new business avenues, and managing partnerships and M&A activities within SIX Securities Services. The role focuses on converting high-level strategy into actionable execution, unlocking revenue potential, and advising senior leadership on the business unit's future direction.
Responsibilities
- Convert the Securities Services strategy into detailed roadmaps that ensure disciplined delivery, effective risk management, and clear performance metrics.
- Grow revenue across clearing, custody, securities finance, and value-added services by targeting new markets and client segments.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate inorganic growth opportunities while developing strategic partnerships.
- Deliver strategic insights, business cases, and performance monitoring data to support executive decision-making.
- Enhance collaboration across internal business units and strengthen the company’s market position with clients and capital market participants.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or business development, preferably within financial market infrastructures or capital markets.
- Proven capability to turn strategic concepts into actionable priorities and execute large-scale initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong knowledge of post-trade services, market infrastructure dynamics, and the relevant regulatory landscape.
- Practical experience in managing strategic partnerships and inorganic growth, including business case creation and integration planning.
- Ability to communicate and advise senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German is considered a significant advantage.
