Head Strategy & Business Development Securities Services

SIX Financial Information seeks an Executive to lead strategy and business development for its Securities Services unit in Zurich, focusing on growth, partnerships, and execution.

This executive position is responsible for steering the long-term direction of the Securities Services business unit. The role focuses on transforming strategic goals into actionable roadmaps, identifying new revenue streams, and managing inorganic growth to solidify the company's standing as a key post-trade infrastructure provider in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Convert high-level strategy into detailed execution plans that ensure disciplined delivery and measurable results.
• Drive revenue expansion across clearing, custody, securities finance, and value-added services by targeting new markets and client segments.
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities to support inorganic growth.
• Deliver strategic insights, business cases, and performance metrics to aid Executive-level decision-making.
• Collaborate across internal business units to enhance client relationships and strengthen the company’s position within the capital markets ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or business development, preferably within financial market infrastructures or capital markets.
• Demonstrated capability to translate strategic vision into actionable priorities and successfully deliver large-scale initiatives.
• Strong understanding of post-trade services, market infrastructure dynamics, and the relevant regulatory landscape.
• Practical experience in managing strategic partnerships and inorganic growth, including business case creation and integration planning.
• Ability to engage with and advise senior stakeholders with credibility and influence.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
