Swordservices seeks a Mid-level IAM IGA Business Analyst in Geneva to lead identity governance modernization, defining access models and bridging business and technical teams.
This position supports a major transformation initiative aimed at modernizing identity and access governance. The role focuses on structuring access models and aligning them with business needs, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams to capture and formalize IAM requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to gather and document identity and access management needs.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to examine user lifecycle processes (joiners, movers, leavers) and determine corresponding access requirements.
- Develop and document structured access models, incorporating segregation of duties and compliance standards.
- Define business roles using RBAC and ABAC principles to strengthen governance frameworks.
- Evaluate current systems and permissions to streamline and rationalize access structures.
- Analyze identity data to identify inconsistencies, orphan accounts, and excessive privileges.
- Assist in implementing governance mechanisms within the new identity platform.
- Maintain an inventory of legacy rules and logic to support their transition to modern cloud-based governance models.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Consultant within IAM/IGA environments
- Strong understanding of identity governance concepts such as role management, access lifecycle, least privilege, and segregation of duties
- Proficiency in data analysis (advanced Excel, SQL queries, or scripting) applied to access and permissions management
- Experience working in agile delivery environments (ideally within SAFe frameworks)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in an international and cross-functional environment
- Excellent analytical capabilities with the ability to structure complex and unorganized environments
- Fluency in English is required
Nice to have
- French is a strong asset
- Familiarity with the Microsoft identity ecosystem (Entra ID, Identity Governance, MIM migration) is considered a plus
