IAM engineer

Qim info seeks a Mid-level IAM Engineer in Geneva to manage identity governance and secure access solutions within a complex enterprise setting.

This position is dedicated to the implementation, administration, and ongoing enhancement of identity and access management services. The engineer will focus on ensuring secure access, authentication, and authorization protocols across the organization's infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain Identity & Access Management frameworks.
• Oversee the full identity lifecycle, including user provisioning, offboarding, and access reviews.
• Administer and fine-tune Microsoft Entra ID environments and their integrations.
• Establish and maintain federation and authentication mechanisms using SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to guarantee compliant access control.
• Automate IAM workflows to boost operational efficiency.
• Monitor IAM platforms, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background as an IAM or Identity Engineer.
• Deep practical expertise with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Solid grasp of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts.
• Familiarity with authentication and federation standards such as SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and LDAP.
• Experience operating within large, complex enterprise structures.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and access management best practices.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Professional-level English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with open-source IAM platforms like Keycloak or Gluu.
• Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Exposure to cloud-based or hybrid identity architectures.
