Import Customs Broker

WeDeclare AG in Basel, CH, seeks a mid-level Import Customs Broker for a part-time, onsite role. Responsibilities include customs clearance for Switzerland and Germany, transit clearances, customer and authority communication, and office tasks. Requires commercial training, customs broker experience, and excellent German.

This position supports import and export customs clearance operations for Switzerland and Germany, including all types of transit clearances. The role involves direct communication with clients and customs authorities, as well as documentation and general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance for imports and exports in Switzerland and Germany
• Process all types of transit clearances
• Communicate with customers and customs authorities via phone and written correspondence
• Record shipment details and perform routine office tasks

Requirements

• Completed commercial basic training
• Prior experience working as a customs broker
• Strong proficiency in German

Nice to have

• Knowledge of English or other foreign languages
