Infrastructure Facility Management Services Engineer (HVAC Engineer)

The company seeks a Mid-level Infrastructure Facility Management Services Engineer (HVAC Engineer) in Neuchatel, CH, to ensure the safe and continuous operation of utility systems while supporting a transition to a smoke-free future.

This position belongs to the Operations team and plays a key part in the organization's shift toward a smoke-free future. The role focuses on maintaining the reliable and secure functioning of all utility equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all utility installations.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and coordinate energy inspections and revisions.
• Ensure proper maintenance of utility equipment to guarantee an uninterrupted energy supply.
• Monitor and optimize engineering systems to promote efficient energy usage.
• Create maintenance strategies and keep maintenance plans accurate and up to date.
• Assist in preparing and executing utilities projects.
• Upgrade and improve Building Management System software and hardware.
• Manage and optimize energy processes, including environmental impacts.
• Supervise, organize, and evaluate the work of internal and external staff.
• Analyze utility operation and maintenance costs to support budget planning.
• Communicate loss elimination priorities and share knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain standardization of utility and support system equipment through centralized change management.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (HVAC, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, etc).
• 2 years professional experience in Engineering department, industrial environment and/or facility management / building utilities operation.
• Proficiency in French (oral & written) and in English (oral).

Nice to have

• Desired experience in asset management, contractors management, utilities equipment management.
• Formal education in HVAC or CVC processes and/or equipment is a plus.
• Written English proficiency is an asset.
