Coopers Group AG seeks a Mid-level Infrastructure & Utilities Engineer in Wallis, CH, to manage small equipment for CAPEX projects and support Warehouse Operations under contract.
This position serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert for small equipment within capital expenditure initiatives. The engineer plays a key role in advancing the strategic goals of Warehouse Operations by ensuring technical excellence and operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Guarantee that small equipment meets defined quality and operational standards for availability and performance.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans to reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Track equipment performance data and apply improvements to enhance efficiency and manage the equipment lifecycle.
- Contribute technical expertise during the design, selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification stages.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Operations teams to ensure proper integration and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze test outcomes, spot deviations, and resolve equipment-related technical problems.
- Conduct root cause analyses and execute effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Suggest process enhancements, system upgrades, and optimization strategies.
- Maintain strict adherence to GMP, regulatory mandates, and internal quality protocols.
- Execute GMP tasks in full compliance with established procedures and documentation rules.
- Assist cGMP manufacturing activities in line with Engineering duties.
- Create, review, and update GMP-related documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Prepare and examine quality records such as deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.
- Represent the department during internal and external audits, inspections, and customer visits.
- Ensure documentation and systems are audit-ready and address any findings appropriately.
- Detect emerging operational issues and communicate them promptly to Operations and Engineering.
- Align engineering activities with production and quality goals through cross-departmental collaboration.
- Follow company policies on safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and quality standards.
- Identify risks and support initiatives to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in German is required.
- Proficiency in English is required.
