System & Commissioning Engineer

Stadler Rheintal AG seeks a System & Commissioning Engineer in Wallisellen to configure CWS applications, manage system integration, and support commissioning activities. The role requires engineering expertise, stakeholder coordination, and fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and tailor CWS software to meet specific client needs and internal product guidelines.
• Develop and update project records such as system overviews, interface details, user guides, and release summaries.
• Align system engineering tasks with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth progress.
• Verify technical alignment, system integration, and adherence to project specifications.
• Assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting tasks, providing support both remotely and at customer locations.
• Track operational performance, investigate incidents, and implement corrective or preventive measures.
• Participate in tender preparation, product enhancement projects, and the ongoing refinement of engineering workflows and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least two years of professional experience in engineering, systems, or technical project settings.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and software-driven systems.
• A structured, solution-focused approach with a proactive attitude and strong ownership.
• High motivation to learn and adapt within a complex engineering landscape.
• Strong communication abilities and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Fluency in both German and English, with readiness to travel approximately 20–40% of the time.
