SKAN AG seeks a Team Lead for Commissioning & Qualification Engineering in Allschwil to support department leadership, manage a team of 12, and oversee strategic projects within the pharmaceutical isolator sector.
This position operates within a shared leadership structure, directly supporting the Head of Commissioning & Qualification Engineering. The department is responsible for delivering both standard and customized isolator solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 12 employees, maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and strategic project execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical activities for the operational CQE team
- Lead and supervise specific strategic projects
- Develop and refine processes and work instructions
- Assist in budget planning and monitor financial compliance
- Execute departmental strategy and track KPIs
- Oversee time tracking and expense reporting
- Participate in recruitment efforts
- Travel approximately 10% of the time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, preferably Plant or Mechanical Engineering
- At least five years of experience in plant engineering, commissioning, and qualification, ideally in pharmaceutical or GMP environments
- Prior leadership experience, either direct or indirect
- Proficiency in MS Office and other IT systems
- Fluent German and proficient English skills
Nice to have
- Practical knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (Step 7/TIA Portal) and/or Allen-Bradley control systems
