Richemont seeks an Intern for its Creative Academy in Meyrin, CH. The role supports the Creation/Design department with engineering tasks, testing, and administrative duties.
This internship is designed to support the Creation/Design department by applying academic knowledge to specific projects. The intern assists with administrative tasks and contributes to design validation through engineering-focused activities under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility tests on proposed engineering solutions to aid in design validation and provide feedback.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings to facilitate the communication, evaluation, and implementation of solutions.
- Execute various tests that require careful assessment, measurement, and professional judgment.
- Support product development by gathering necessary data and preparing documentation according to established procedures.
- Ensure adherence to established standards and protocols when handling routine inquiries.
- Build a working knowledge of organizational policies and regulatory codes, following mandatory procedures to meet quality standards.
- Operate semi-complex equipment, prioritize routine tasks for efficiency, and adjust variables to resolve production issues.
- Perform basic data entry and verification tasks with accuracy.
- Address queries from internal or external stakeholders by providing information or escalating complex issues.
- Improve technical and procedural skills through training, coaching, and development planning activities.
Requirements
- Completion of Upper Secondary School education.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering drawing and design software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot semi-complex machinery.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards relevant to engineering and design.
