Internship - Data Scientist

Lombard Odier IM seeks an Intern Data Scientist to help build a monitoring framework for AI Copilot agents, focusing on performance, quality, and cost optimization in Geneva.

This internship supports the deployment of AI Copilot agents by establishing a robust monitoring framework. The position focuses on managing agent performance, ensuring quality, tracking adoption rates, and controlling costs through structured evaluation and optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Establish key metrics such as accuracy, relevance, and hallucination rates, while building automated systems to evaluate response quality.
• Track agent stability by monitoring response times, error rates, availability, and robustness.
• Analyze user adoption by tracking usage patterns, mapping user journeys, and measuring satisfaction through feedback, NPS, and reuse rates.
• Oversee inference and usage expenses to improve the value-to-cost ratio.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to structure a standardized Sandbox environment.
• Implement resource variability across platforms like Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams to support production deployment.
• Draft recommendations and best practices for the integration, deployment, and industrialization of AI agents.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or a Data Science program.
• Specialized knowledge in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and the challenges of production deployment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and comfort working within technical environments.
• Strong organizational abilities, autonomy, and critical thinking skills.
