Internship – Data Analytics Financial Services

KPMG AG in Zürich seeks an Intern for Data Analytics in Financial Services. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting, and visualization within Audit and Assurance, supporting business transformation and ESG consulting.

This internship places you within the Audit and Assurance division, where you will tackle complex data and analytics challenges. You will collaborate with an international team to support clients in their business transformation and ESG consulting efforts, addressing significant industry challenges through data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Help design and build data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools for Audit and Assurance.
• Explore and resolve difficult business problems faced by clients and auditors.
• Learn about the business processes, IT systems, and data models used by national and international clients.
• Assist the team in embedding data solutions into the existing workflows of clients.
• Partner with internal and external clients across different sectors to solve complex business issues using data analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a business or technical discipline.
• Strong interest in analyzing business data, IT environments, and business processes.
• Desire to understand the diverse data landscapes of national and international clients.
• High self-motivation, problem-solving mindset, and strong analytical skills with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, including Microsoft SQL Server Studio, PowerBI, and Visual Studio Code.
• Excellent English skills and good German skills.
