Intern / Working Student – Risk, Controls and Internal Audit

KPMG AG in Zürich seeks an Intern / Working Student for its Risk, Controls and Internal Audit team. The position supports strategic risk management and internal audit projects in a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Risk, Controls and Internal Audit team, functioning as a transformation office that connects various risk domains. The role aids clients in aligning their risk management with business strategies while supporting the team's growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff on projects spanning enterprise risk management, financial reporting, third-party risk, digital/IT/cyber risk, and risk technology.
• Help identify optimization opportunities, draft proposals, and develop business cases.
• Build the internal KPMG network and participate in team events.
• Carry out engagement setup procedures under colleague guidance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or holding a university degree.
• Demonstrated history of success.
• Beginning to establish a professional network in Switzerland.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and possess strong communication abilities with a goal to pursue client consulting.
• Fluency in both English and French.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Geneva.

• Professional proficiency in German.
