Internship - Enhancing Financial Knowledge Access with Generative AI

Lombard Odier IM seeks an intern to join its Content & Communications team, focusing on developing Generative AI solutions to improve financial knowledge access and user experience.

This internship places the candidate within a specialized unit of over twenty developers and data scientists. The position aims to directly influence user experience by streamlining communication processes and refining how investment insights are managed through advanced AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT developers and data scientists to research and deploy new AI-driven services.
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand specific user requirements and pain points.
• Improve current platforms by adding features designed with the end-user in mind.
• Take part in the entire software development lifecycle under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Write code primarily in Python, while also exploring opportunities in Java and Angular.
• Research emerging AI models and track general advancements in artificial intelligence technology.

Requirements

• Hold or be actively pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and cloud infrastructure.
• Possess strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Show interest in Azure cloud platforms and associated security protocols.
• Be fluent in either English or French.
• Currently reside in Switzerland or be prepared to relocate there.
