Investment Proposal Specialist

Lombard Odier IM seeks a Junior Investment Proposal Specialist in Geneva to support portfolio construction and client solutions through data-driven analysis and Python-based tools.

This position bridges portfolio construction, investment analytics, and client-facing solutions. It is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals who wish to collaborate directly with investment experts throughout the organization to deliver tailored financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine investment proposals and portfolio recommendations tailored to private clients.
• Conduct portfolio construction analyses across various asset classes, including strategic asset allocation, risk assessment, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Assist in building and enhancing portfolio analytics frameworks, investment methodologies, and processes for generating proposals.
• Build and maintain Python-based tools to boost portfolio modeling, investment analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Partner with Portfolio Management, Product Offering, Relationship Managers, and Client Portfolio Specialists to provide customized investment solutions.
• Prepare compelling investment presentations and supporting materials that translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable advice.
• Help improve the efficiency, scalability, and sophistication of the Investment Solutions platform.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, data science, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Internship experience or up to two years of relevant background in portfolio analytics, investment solutions, asset management, wealth management, or a related area.
• Strong grasp of asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and investment products across major asset classes.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, portfolio modeling, and process automation.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with VBA, SQL, Bloomberg PORT, or similar investment tools.
• Knowledge of French or another European language.
