Internship in MSAT at Lonza in Visp, supporting biopharmaceutical production processes, technology transfers, and GMP documentation within a collaborative team.
This internship places you within the MSAT Mammalian organization in Visp, contributing to upstream or downstream processing, process validation, and technology transfers. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and a positive team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and scientific support to ensure efficient and robust production processes.
- Participate in upstream (cell culture) or downstream (purification) processing activities, or process validation tasks.
- Assist with technology transfers of biopharmaceutical processes when required.
- Support manufacturing process validation activities within the biopharmaceutical plant.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Help manage deviations, investigations, and change controls.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing GMP-compliant documentation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student in engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical and structured approach to work, with a focus on detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.
- Fluent English language skills.
Nice to have
- German language skills are considered a plus.
