Lonza seeks an intern for its MSAT Mammalian department in Visp to support manufacturing science, validation, and GMP documentation within a collaborative team.
This internship places you within the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Mammalian organization in Visp. You will join a fast-paced team focused on collaboration and continuous learning, providing essential technical support to ensure efficient and robust production processes for biopharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and scientific assistance to maintain efficient production workflows.
- Participate in process validation and cleaning validation tasks.
- Assist with manufacturing validation activities within the biopharmaceutical facility.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
- Help manage deviations, investigations, and change control procedures.
- Prepare and review documentation that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student in engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- An analytical and structured approach to work, with a strong focus on detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.
- Fluent command of the English language.

- Knowledge of the German language.
