Investor Relations Officer (Finance)

Roche seeks a Senior Investor Relations Officer in Basel to manage capital market relations, financial reporting, and investor communications within a dynamic, science-driven environment.

This position provides a comprehensive view of investor relations at a leading pharmaceutical company. The role involves maintaining strong capital market relationships while working in a fast-paced setting that supports professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial presentations for leadership, with a primary focus on supporting the CFO and contributing to the Finance Report.
• Serve as the main contact for analysts and investors regarding financial and sustainability (ESG) inquiries, while cultivating an internal network of experts.
• Direct fixed-income operations, including addressing bondholder inquiries, assisting with new debt issuances, and coordinating with Group Treasury for annual rating agency reviews.
• Track sell-side research, interpret consensus estimates, and maintain an internal valuation model alongside Group Planning.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Communications on strategic initiatives, regulatory updates, and ad-hoc disclosure processes.
• Contribute to capital market events by crafting narratives and creating presentation materials for various speakers.
• Manage daily operations of the Investor Relations website and related digital platforms.

Requirements

• Possess a finance, accounting, or business background with a minimum of five years of group-level experience in a global Pharma or Biotech firm, including direct involvement in quarterly and annual results reviews.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in capital markets, a clear understanding of company valuations (particularly in healthcare), and a solid grasp of accounting policies.
• Exhibit high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytical platforms such as Bloomberg.
• Ability to speak German.
