IS ERP Solution Architect Source-to-Pay (f/m/d)

ABB Power Grids seeks a Senior IS ERP Solution Architect for Source-to-Pay in Zürich. The role focuses on SAP S/4HANA architecture, requirements engineering, and global project delivery within the SAP Center of Excellence.

The company is looking for a senior professional to join its SAP Center of Excellence. In this position, you will design and maintain high-quality SAP solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and deliver value across international projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and uphold the technical architecture for SAP solutions, ensuring consistency across modules and integrated systems.
• Analyze business needs to evaluate standard features, necessary enhancements, and viable workarounds.
• Convert functional designs into technical specifications and verify use case documentation.
• Partner with project stakeholders, business units, and external partners to prioritize and validate business demands.
• Create rules, principles, and guidelines for technical solution development.
• Integrate non-functional requirements and operational standards into solution designs.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and industry practices to introduce innovation into the SAP Center of Excellence.
• Foster cross-stream collaboration to create optimized, user-focused solutions that align with SAP standards.
• Work closely with end-users to understand current procedures and clarify future requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of IT industry experience, including at least 8 years in solution architecture focused on S/4HANA systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in global projects within your area of expertise.
• Certification in S/4HANA functional area Source to Pay.
• Strong ability to bridge business and IT, translating requirements into effective solutions.
• Proven leadership in delivering business value through virtual teams.
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ABAP programming and SAP ALE-IDOC
