Baer AG seeks a Senior IT Project Lead in Zürich to manage the implementation of the Personal Account Transaction Suite. The role requires strong project management experience in financial institutions, stakeholder navigation, and fluency in English.
The company is looking for a senior professional to oversee the full implementation of the Personal Account Transaction Suite. This position focuses on delivering the project within defined scope, budget, and quality standards while ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the project, ensuring adherence to committed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Apply Flowable and Actico Business Rule technologies throughout the implementation process.
- Ensure strict compliance with the organization's project governance framework, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog items, define requirements, and align them with existing or parallel initiatives.
- Facilitate a seamless transition of the final solution to Operations and Support teams once the project concludes.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding 2 million CHF using classic methodologies within the financial sector.
- Possess a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to constructively challenge and maintain firm positions when necessary.
- Be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of independently handling administrative and financial project aspects.
- Show proficiency in Jira and Confluence, along with a solid understanding of agile practices and ceremonies.
- Exhibit excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a cross-cultural mindset and strong relationship management abilities.
- Quickly grasp business contexts and project governance structures.
- Effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Possess strong negotiation skills to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Maintain fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Prior knowledge of compliance standards or the Personal Account Transaction (PAT) domain is beneficial.
- Proficiency in additional languages, especially German, is highly valued.
