Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Senior IT Tooling / DevOps Specialist in Geneva to enhance SDLC platforms, focusing on automation, standardization, and tool optimization within a dedicated team.
This position is embedded within a 13-person group tasked with managing, maintaining, and evolving more than 15 DevOps and SDLC tools. The primary objective is to drive continuous improvement across the IT tooling landscape through platform enhancements, optimization, and automation, ensuring the environment supports the organization’s Software Development Life Cycle effectively.
Responsibilities
- Suggest and deploy upgrades to current systems including Git, Azure DevOps, Ansible Automation Platform, and Artifactory.
- Evaluate new features, plugins, and integration possibilities to boost operational efficiency and the developer experience.
- Establish and uphold configuration standards, usage guidelines, governance models, and best practices for the platform.
- Assist with user onboarding and provide ongoing support.
- Spot opportunities to enhance platform performance, reliability, scalability, usability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to keep tooling aligned with enterprise standards and technology strategy.
- Help define and execute the roadmap for IT tooling.
Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience with DevOps tools, particularly Azure DevOps, Jira, Ansible Automated Platform, and Git.
- Proven ability to design and implement DevOps solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the skill to create solutions when no standard pattern is available.
