Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Senior IT PMO professional in Geneva to oversee delivery governance, standardize project methods, and manage cross-team dependencies for multiple programs.

This position is responsible for strengthening and executing delivery governance across a portfolio of programs and projects. The incumbent will standardize operational methods, coordinate complex dependencies between various teams, and lead an operational model that integrates both onshore and offshore resources.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, refine, and enforce delivery frameworks, including Agile, hybrid, and SDLC approaches, along with stage gates and quality standards.
  • Set baselines and manage variances related to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain delivery playbooks, RACI matrices, and onboarding materials for PMs and Scrum Masters across global teams.
  • Create integrated master schedules and release plans while managing cross-team dependencies and critical paths.
  • Facilitate PI and quarterly planning sessions, ensuring smooth handoffs from demand intake to delivery teams.
  • Define and track KPIs and OKRs for delivery health, such as schedule adherence, velocity, defect density, and SLA attainment.
  • Develop and maintain automated Power BI dashboards by integrating data from Jira, Azure DevOps, time tracking, and financial systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Define utilization standards and taxonomies for direct vs. indirect time, setting target bands by role and seniority.
  • Ensure compliance with time-tracking policies and manage exceptions for holidays, PTO, and training.
  • Monitor utilization at individual, team, vendor, and portfolio levels, taking corrective actions for under- or over-utilization.
  • Operate a rigorous RAID process with heatmaps and escalation paths, maintaining mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Manage change control and traceability from intake to deployment, enforcing scope discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, SDLC, and audit requirements.
  • Track delivery budgets, forecasts, and burn rates, partnering with Finance on month-end close and accruals.
  • Identify cost and productivity improvements through tooling, automation, and standardization.
  • Update financial systems and ensure consistency across all PMO toolsets.
  • Facilitate executive readouts on delivery status, risks, and release readiness, presenting options and recommendations.
  • Partner with Business Change, Architecture, Delivery Support, and IT Management to align on priorities and release criteria.
  • Drive the adoption of delivery metrics and continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Must hold Swiss Residence status.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree.
  • PMP and/or PgMP certification.
  • Agile certifications such as PSM, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or SPC.
  • Power BI or SQL certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management knowledge.
  • Fluency in French.
