Angst+Pfister AG seeks a Junior PMO Specialist in Opfikon to manage global project portfolios, ensure governance, and support strategic decisions through data-driven reporting and stakeholder coordination.

This position is responsible for maintaining transparency and operational excellence across the company's global project portfolio. By providing reliable insights, standardized tools, and clear governance, the role supports senior leadership in making informed strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational side of the project and investment portfolio, ensuring all reporting is accurate, timely, and follows standardized formats.
  • Collaborate with project managers to keep project data, schedules, risk assessments, financial details, and documentation up to date in Jira, Confluence, and other PMO systems.
  • Track portfolio performance, key milestones, and KPIs to identify deviations early and escalate potential risks proactively.
  • Evaluate business cases and monitor project costs, benefits, and investment metrics throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary expert for Jira, Confluence, and Power BI by maintaining dashboards, reporting standards, workflows, and templates to ensure consistent data governance.
  • Support the global project management community through user training, first-level support, PMO communications, and the continuous improvement of standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and consolidate executive portfolio reports, KPI dashboards, and quarterly management presentations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a similar technical or commercial field.
  • At least one year of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project management setting.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, PMO governance, portfolio management, and reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent English language skills at a C1 level or higher.
  • German language skills at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

  • Additional knowledge in accounting or corporate finance.
  • Experience within an international, matrix-based industrial organization.
