Operations Transformation manager

Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Senior Operations Transformation Manager in Geneva to review, optimize, and transform departmental processes while leading strategic improvement initiatives.

This position focuses on analyzing and enhancing operational workflows across the department. The role involves collaborating with operations teams, IT, and management to identify inefficiencies, streamline procedures, and drive strategic transformation projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational procedures to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute process enhancements that boost efficiency, service quality, and control standards.
• Oversee transformation initiatives from the initial analysis phase through to final implementation.
• Organize workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand operational hurdles.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of process improvements.
• Manage change management efforts to ensure the smooth adoption of new operating models.
• Verify that all proposed changes align with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and risk management standards.
• Create detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and target operating models.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance or Information Technology.
• At least 10 years of professional experience within banking operations.
• Demonstrated background in process review, re-engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Strong project management capabilities, including handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work autonomously and constructively challenge existing practices.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Legal right to reside in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management methodologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond French and English.
• Basic programming skills.
