Hilobyaktiia in Neuchâtel, CH, seeks a Junior Scientific Writer for a full-time hybrid role. The position involves drafting scientific content, supporting publication processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external experts.

This role supports the creation and dissemination of scientific content by translating clinical and technical outputs into manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations. It involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders such as Key Opinion Leaders, with a focus on hands-on scientific writing and project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Draft manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and materials for conferences and publications
  • Manage the full publication cycle, including editing, submission, and responding to reviewer feedback
  • Coordinate input from internal teams and external authors, including Key Opinion Leaders
  • Translate complex clinical and technical data into clear, structured scientific narratives
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and internal communication materials
  • Support the development of congress materials such as slides, posters, and briefing documents
  • Monitor scientific literature and industry trends to stay current
  • Summarize key findings for internal stakeholders
  • Maintain reference libraries and support knowledge sharing within the team
  • Prepare materials for interactions with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Coordinate scientific deliverables across departments
  • Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

  • PhD in biomedical science, biomedical engineering, biology, data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in scientific writing, including manuscripts, abstracts, and posters
  • Excellent command of scientific English
  • Experience using reference management tools such as EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to present complex scientific information clearly and logically
  • High attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have

  • Experience creating scientific figures or presentations
  • Basic programming knowledge, such as Python
  • Prior exposure to clinical or regulated environments
