Clinical Data Manager

Hilobyaktiia seeks a Mid-level Clinical Data Manager in Neuchâtel, CH, to own and improve clinical data workflows for its clinical studies. The role requires experience with EDC systems, data monitoring, and fluency in English and French, with a hybrid work model and competitive compensation including equity.

This role is responsible for managing and enhancing clinical data workflows that support Hilo’s clinical studies. It ensures accurate data capture, processing, and maintenance across systems, acting as a link between clinical sites, internal teams, and data platforms to deliver reliable, high-quality data and efficient processes.

Responsibilities

• Help design, set up, and maintain clinical databases in EDC systems according to study protocols and regulatory standards
• Organize and format clinical datasets to enable analysis and reporting
• Carry out regular data checks and cleaning to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Assist in creating study reports and visualizations for internal teams and investigators
• Track clinical study progress and monitor data collection milestones across active studies
• Serve as the main contact for clinical sites on data-related matters
• Perform routine visits to clinical centers in Switzerland, especially CHUV in Lausanne
• Provide training and support to site staff on study procedures and device operation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related area
• Early-career experience in Clinical Data Management or a similar field
• Practical experience with EDC systems and knowledge of clinical data management practices
• Advanced skills in Excel for data handling
• Understanding of data structures and basic IT concepts such as programming, data storage, data transfer, cloud environments, and AI
• Fluency in both English and French (minimum C1 level for communication with clinical sites)
• Meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to work
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment
