Genedata seeks a Clinical IT Specialist in St. Gallen, CH, for a full-time remote role. The position involves implementing and supporting Beckman Coulter’s Clinical IT solutions in regulated lab environments, requiring experience in In Vitro Diagnostics and multilingual skills (German, English, French).
The Clinical IT Specialist supports the deployment and maintenance of Beckman Coulter’s Clinical IT solutions within customer laboratories, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and diagnostic workflows. As part of the Clinical IT Europe team, the role connects product development with sales and project management, focusing on regulated lab environments and patient care data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure Total Laboratory Automation systems according to project plans and customer needs
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and adherence to quality and compliance standards
- Identify and resolve risks during implementation to meet project deadlines
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through ongoing support and engagement
- Serve as a technical advisor for customers and internal teams, including Pre-Sales
- Collect and share customer feedback following Beckman Coulter procedures
- Propose improvements for future Clinical IT solutions based on field experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Practical experience in In Vitro Diagnostics, including lab workflows, diagnostic instruments, and Total Laboratory Automation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a high-pressure environment
- Fluency in German, English, and French
- Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time, mainly in Switzerland and Austria, with additional European travel as needed, and flexibility with work hours
Nice to have
- Familiarity with networking, virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMware), and Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025)
- Understanding of lab analyzer communication protocols such as HL7 and ASTM
- Experience collaborating in European or global teams
- Previous project management experience in lab or hospital settings
