Associate Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) Mass Spectrometry and Capillary Electrophoresis

Genedata seeks a fully remote Associate Field Service Engineer for Swiss Romandie to support Mass Spectrometry and Capillary Electrophoresis systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

This fully remote position covers the Swiss Romandie region, primarily around Bern. The engineer acts as a trusted technical partner, delivering high-quality service interventions while identifying opportunities for optimization and long-term customer retention. The role also focuses on translating field insights into actionable feedback to enhance product quality and service efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute service operations independently, including system installations, maintenance, repairs, and user training, while collaborating closely with service, sales, and technical support teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty, ultimately contributing to increased order volume.
• Generate timely reports and systematically log errors in customer data, ensuring accurate documentation and appropriate follow-up services.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, medical technology, physics, chemistry, or a related science, or possess an apprenticeship with an advanced state-certified technician qualification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling common EDP systems and have prior experience in a relevant application field.
• Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
• Maintain a high willingness to travel within the assigned region, which requires a valid driver's license.
• Possess a valid Swiss work permit at the time of application.
