ITech Consult AG seeks a Mid-level Process Engineer in Rotkreuz to support sequencing production ramp-up and daily operations within a regulated environment.
This position provides technical expertise for a newly established sequencing production line located in Rotkreuz, which manufactures a revolutionary product currently in the Research Use Only phase. The role operates within a matrix structure, offering daily business support and driving improvement projects alongside a parallel site in Santa Clara, USA.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver hands-on technical support for daily manufacturing activities and the initial ramp-up phase.
- Manage and implement technical and process modifications within the SAP system for sequencing sensors and cartridges.
- Oversee non-conformity notifications, conduct root-cause analyses, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Track production metrics and analyze performance indicators to maintain process stability and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including the US site in Santa Clara.
- Adhere strictly to GxP-regulated internal processes, focusing initially on compliance tasks such as change and document management.
Requirements
- A university degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Material Science, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) or a completed apprenticeship with equivalent professional experience.
- One to three years of experience in a highly regulated setting, demonstrating a strong quality awareness and GxP mindset.
- Fluent proficiency in English and a good working knowledge of German (B2+ level).
- Strong teamwork motivation, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently within multi-disciplinary teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in data-driven process monitoring and the analysis of key production performance indicators.
- Practical knowledge in planning and executing experiments, preferably using statistical tools like Design of Experiments (DoEs) in lab or production settings.
- Strong coaching and communication skills to support shopfloor operators during production line ramp-up.
