AurigaVision AG seeks a Mid-level Process Engineer to optimize biopharmaceutical manufacturing for monoclonal antibodies and support technology transfer activities in a full-time, on-site role in Switzerland.
This position is dedicated to refining biopharmaceutical production workflows specifically for monoclonal antibodies. The engineer will also play a key part in bridging the gap between early-stage development and large-scale commercial manufacturing through technology transfer support.
Responsibilities
- Refine biopharmaceutical production workflows specifically for monoclonal antibodies.
- Facilitate the transition of technologies from development phases into commercial manufacturing.
- Plan and carry out studies to characterize and validate manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate process data and introduce process analytical technology (PAT) methods.
- Work alongside quality assurance and regulatory departments to prepare process-related documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry.
- Between 4 and 7 years of hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical process development or manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in cell culture, chromatography, and filtration unit operations.
- Solid understanding of Quality by Design (QbD), process analytical technology (PAT), and statistical process control.
- Proven track record in scaling processes from laboratory bench to commercial production.
