Verfahrensingenieur Pharma Engineering (m/w/d)

The company seeks a Senior Process Engineer for Pharma Engineering in Kaiseraugst to lead GMP-compliant engineering projects and ensure reliable operations of complex solid dosage production plants.

This position belongs to the Pharma Engineering Drug Product team at the Kaiseraugst site. The group handles innovative, GMP-compliant engineering and the dependable operation of intricate galenics production facilities. The role assists business partners from the initial concept through project execution to the ongoing lifecycle management of the systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the efficient and effective operations engineering of galenic solid plants in Kaiseraugst.
• Create, maintain, review, and approve project, factory, qualification, and SGU documentation.
• Implement and ensure the state of the art and regulatory and internal regulations/guidelines in the areas of SGU and GMP.
• Proactively support customers in defining and initiating investment projects including cost estimates and schedules.
• Lead projects and orders with responsibility for the technical solution, costs, and schedules.

Requirements

• Completed scientific university degree (FH/TU) in process engineering, pharmaceutical technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project planning or operations engineering of galenic plants.
• Fundamental knowledge of GMP guidelines and process engineering requirements for plants producing solid dosage forms.
• Experience in containment for employee and product protection.
• Very good German and good English skills.
