Scientific Assistant

ETH Zurich seeks a Junior Scientific Assistant (part-time, on-site) to support teaching, research, and chair projects. The role requires architectural expertise, bilingual communication, and independent work skills.

This position supports the chair by providing technical and architectural guidance. The assistant will help manage ongoing projects and lead independent side initiatives while contributing to the department's academic activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and organize materials for teaching and research activities
• Facilitate exercises and mentor students during their project work

Requirements

• Minimum two years of professional experience as an architect
• Ability to work reliably and independently within a small team structure
• Strong communication abilities in both English and German

• Experience establishing or managing an independent architectural practice
