Key Account Manager

Escatec Switzerland AG seeks a Key Account Manager to oversee strategic client relationships, drive sales growth, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within the electronics manufacturing sector.

This position serves as the primary liaison between the company and its most important clients. The incumbent is tasked with nurturing these strategic partnerships, ensuring that customer needs are accurately translated into operational actions, and driving business development to meet established sales and profitability targets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary advocate for clients, ensuring their requirements are clearly understood and addressed across all internal departments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Account Development Plans to achieve specific sales and profit objectives.
• Manage the full quotation process, including price negotiations and feedback loops with clients.
• Coordinate with the materials sourcing team to resolve supply chain issues and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) activities alongside Project Managers to guarantee milestone adherence.
• Lead the Customer Focus Team to meet operational KPIs related to on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct internal business reviews and facilitate cross-departmental communication to support client needs.
• Analyze Customer Satisfaction Survey results and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate business forecasts and manage customer visits, including presentation preparation and travel logistics.
• Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Customer Service Policy for all assigned accounts.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, at an excellent level.
• Strong capabilities in sales, project management, and business analysis.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication at all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• At least five years of experience in contract manufacturing within the electronics industry.
• Familiarity with tool making and moulding processes.
