Leader Cabin Mechanic

AMAC Aerospace seeks a Mid-level Leader Cabin Mechanic in Basel to oversee VIP cabin installations and modifications within a dynamic, owner-managed environment.

This position operates within the exclusive sector of business VIP aviation. The primary purpose is to lead and coordinate all cabin installation, modification, and removal tasks, ensuring strict adherence to technical standards and quality expectations while managing team workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organize cabin installation, modification, and removal projects using approved data and supervisor instructions.
• Guarantee that all activities meet airworthiness standards, internal procedures, and VIP quality benchmarks.
• Oversee strict adherence to work sign-off protocols, tool control measures, and documentation rules.
• Allocate team workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion against tight schedules.
• Detect, report, and resolve non-conformities to maintain superior quality standards.
• Serve as a technical expert for the team, providing support and mentorship to junior mechanics.
• Ensure full compliance with Part-145 regulations, including inspections, torque application, locking devices, sealing, inserts installation, and EWIS requirements.
• Interpret and apply technical documentation such as task cards, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure proper handling of aeronautical materials and optimal use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the cabin work environment.

Requirements

• Mechanic and technical qualification, experience in business VIP Aviation
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in cabin mechanics
• Good English skills (to read and understand technical documentation)

Nice to have

• First leading experience
• French or German language skills
