AMAC Aerospace seeks a Continuing Airworthiness Coordinator in Basel to manage aircraft airworthiness, technical records, and maintenance planning within a dynamic, owner-managed environment.

This position is responsible for maintaining the continuing airworthiness of the AMAC fleet and ensuring all operational and emergency equipment remains serviceable. The role operates in a challenging, multifaceted setting where technical oversight and regulatory compliance are central to daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain AMAC’s technical records in strict accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Assess Airworthiness Directives and OEM Service Bulletins to issue relevant recommendations.
  • Support the enhancement of aircraft maintenance program effectiveness.
  • Analyze system and component reliability data to propose improvements.
  • Oversee maintenance planning efficiency and ensure proper technical follow-up.
  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduled maintenance, defect repairs, and cost reporting.
  • Coordinate with selected Part 145 maintenance organizations appointed by the CAMO.
  • Verify that the Certificate of Airworthiness for each aircraft remains valid.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of EASA Part M and Part CAMO regulations.
  • At least two years of experience working within a CAMO environment.
  • General familiarization training for at least one Airbus, Boeing, or Gulfstream aircraft type.
  • Willingness and ability to perform weekend duties as required.

Nice to have

  • Holding an EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 license.
  • Possession of a specific aircraft type rating.
  • Familiarity with CAMP, CMP, or RAL processes.
  • Prior experience using the AMOS software system.
