Aftermarket Sales & Services Manager

Jet Aviation seeks an Aftermarket Sales & Services Manager in Basel to manage customer relationships, coordinate technical projects, and drive sales for aircraft aftermarket solutions.

This position serves as the primary liaison for a dedicated customer portfolio, bridging commercial objectives with technical expertise. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive aftermarket solutions, including parts, maintenance, engineering, and training, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention across a global network.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from initial quotation to final product and service delivery.
  • Act as the key contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Consult clients on available services such as component repairs, engineering support, shop services, training programs, and refurbishment projects.
  • Coordinate complex projects involving loaner parts, engineering requests, STC developments, minor modifications, and off-site refurbishments.
  • Provide support for various technical services, including wheel maintenance, emergency equipment, plating, and overhaul activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Assist with parts purchasing and sales logistics, including tracking shipments, managing documentation, and coordinating with billing teams.
  • Maintain precise records in ERP and CRM systems, track service performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience within the aviation sector.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in aviation, logistics, purchasing, or a similar technical-commercial capacity.
  • Solid technical knowledge of the aviation industry, including OEM standards and applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to combine sales acumen with project management skills and sound business judgment.
  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and deliver solution-oriented support.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities, paired with a collaborative and open mindset.
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in international, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.
  • Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French or German.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, or Salesforce.
