This traineeship is situated within the Global and Swiss legal departments based in Basel. It is designed to give candidates hands-on experience working within a major international pharmaceutical company, covering a broad range of legal topics relevant to the industry.
Responsibilities
- Handling legal matters and projects related to pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, contract law, commercial law, licensing, and transactions.
- Providing advice on development, regulatory, digital, and commercial issues concerning the research, development, and commercialization of pharmaceutical products.
- Conducting legal research and preparing documents on various legal issues and disputes in private and public law.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements including licensing, research collaborations, distribution, confidentiality, service, and consultancy contracts.
- Supporting projects such as creating contract templates, delivering legal training, developing global guidelines and policies, and managing research collaborations and partnerships.
Requirements
- Hold a Swiss Bachelor of Law (BLaw) or Master of Law (MLaw) degree, or an equivalent qualification from a Swiss university.
- Possess first professional or internship experience, which is preferred.
- Demonstrate good proficiency in both German and English.
