SR Technics in Zürich seeks a Junior Logistics Specialist to manage warehouse operations, handle goods receipt, and coordinate shipments using SAP systems.
This position supports the daily flow of materials within a global and dynamic organization. The specialist ensures that goods are received, checked, stored, and shipped efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify accompanying documentation
- Pack, store, and dispatch items according to established quality and safety protocols
- Record warehouse movements and manage inventory data via SAP or ERP platforms
- Load and unload delivery trucks and coordinate with external logistics providers
- Perform initial quality inspections and resolve any identified discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to maintain operational smoothness
- Uphold general warehouse standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements
Requirements
- Completion of vocational training in logistics or an equivalent qualification
- Physical fitness capable of lifting heavy objects
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and forklift certification
- Availability to work in a two-shift rotation
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication
- Team-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German and basic English (A2 level or higher)
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
- Prior experience using SAP systems
